Rain forces La Noche en Blanco of Albox to June 11 and 12

The municipality of Albox is going to recover this year what had been one of its most important festive days: the White Night, which will take place next Saturday, June 5, (now the weekend of Saturday 12th) combining shopping with outdoor leisure and an important raffle.

The Councillor for Commerce, Virginia Sáez, has detailed that this year "opportunities, bargains and discounts" will abound in a day that will also feature animation, music and other outdoor shows.

"All the establishments are demanding it, last year a lot of stock was left in the shops and this year sales are quite stopped due to restrictions, people have not gone out as much as they would have liked and all that has been noticed in sales ”, said the mayor in an interview for Cadena SER Levante

Tent area
The Town Council is going to set up a tent area with approximately 24 stalls , although new vendors can still join, where residents can find men's clothing, haberdashery, lingerie, perfumery, accessories, sports stores and footwear among many other items.

“In the region we are at level one, so we already have 100% markets. In this case, it would function as a market to use, but we would have access control, temperature, gel and all the security measures ”, announced the mayor of Commerce.

Likewise, in all the commercial streets of Albox, which as Sáez recalled are accredited by the Junta de Andalucía, the traditional shops of the municipality will join the discounts and offers. As for entertainment, the Town Council has done its duty to offer it safely.

"We have tried to avoid those activities that can lead to a lot of crowds such as concerts, and we have always put background animation, brass bands, dj and everything that can animate the town and that people move, but without posing a danger," he said the councillor.

There will also be a parade and, as for the draw, it will be run by the Association of Entrepreneurs and Professionals of Albox (AEPA) in collaboration with the Consistory. This year the event has the particularity that it will also extend throughout the following day, so that no one misses the White Night of Albox.
