Happy Garden
« on: 01 Sep, 2019, 09:11:26 am »
Noticed on Friday after looking at my bill they are now charging for their takeaway boxes and bag, nothing was said at the time about this .
Has anyone else noticed it ?

I enjoy the food at Happy Garden, but only once bought a takeaway and it was very poor IMO, so I would never buy one again whether they charge for boxes or not. ☹️

The food was fine, just a bit miffed at not being told about the extra charges.

I agree Annie we had one for nine people once and it was extremely poor, never had one again, but then I think most takeaways are disappointing especially Indian ones!

Stacey I think you are being very generalising, anyway this is an Asian restaurant mainly Chinese and Korean.

If I’m honest, I don’t really enjoy a takeaway from any restaurant.  I don’t know what it is, but it just doesn’t taste the same.  Especially something which is crisp in the restaurant, batter for instance, it’s soggy by the time you get it home. 🙁

I know Bea I have been many times and enjoyed eating in. I have had takeaways from many places and been disappointed . I was only giving my opinion, probably won’t bother again.

Dont worry Stacey , you continue to voice your opinion.
Thats what its all about.
I also like food in the Happy Garden but the takeaways dont seem near as good.  IMO

Hi Stacey, didn’t know you were back living in Spain .
We all give our opinIons here without any animosity, hopefully.
Don’t want it to end up like another forum we know!
