We were in Oria this afternoon; there was maybe one drop per square inch, over about an hour, I.E. nothing.
Went home, just over 7kms away, and there were big puddles......... Weird weather  :blank:

Strange weather up here yesterday - overcast and hazy with alternative ferocious winds and periods of calm.  Lots of thunder  but sadly no rain.  It was very hot up here with 35.2C in shade (although no sun)

It was over 40 here yesterday and I don’t want rain when we’ve got this hair dryer wind from the Sahara.  It will be filthy! 😡

Just checked my forecast and no rain today but small chance of some tomorrow morning.  I washed my car on friday Annie, so it is bound to be Sahara rain...

I have had some rain. It started early this morning as it woke me up at 6.30.  I have guttering on the roof and rain falling on that was deafening with bedroom window open.  I really had high hopes of not needing to water today.  The rain gauge had just 2 ml in it....

Had a look at the Rain Alarm and it doesn't look as if we will be getting any more....

We had about a dozen large drops early this morning, although the sky looks a bit like there might be more.  Much fresher this morning.

Was your rain dirty Frankie?

No, Annie, it hasn't been.  I posted earlier that there would be no more rain here, went outside and did about half the watering when it chucked it  down..  By the time I reached the front door and went inside, soaking wet, it had stopped, so back out again and did the rest.  At least with the ground now damp, if it does rain again it should soak in and not run off.

We had a decent amount of rain overnight. A few large drops about an hour ago. The sky looks heavy though. Wish it just rain and get it over and done with. My washing is in and out like a fiddlers elbow.

   I know what you mean Doreen, I felt a bit like one of those old fashioned weather stations where there was a lady behind one door and a man in the other.  The lady came out when sun shone and  the man when it rained.
