Who did what?
Some people walked the Walk for Life 6k route. Stuart Copeland walked it on his own in just under an hour, Ceri Norman walked it accompanied by her husband, the staff from the Ayuntamiento of Arboleas, including our Policia Local and the Mayor, walked the 6km route as did  Ovie Ojiri  and his gym members in just under an hour.  Paul the Pool his wife Anna Bedford and their daughters Imogen and Alannah did 6k a day over 6 days, doing the Walk for Life route on the last day and Melanie Rayner ran it in 38 minutes.

Mick and Jane Thomas completed their 6k walk in stages, Angela and Phil Kendal did theirs in in their local rambla and Nigel Bradder did 12k on his Elliptigo.  84 year-old Jean Bye did a 3k walk very early in the morning to avoid the heat and Anji and Craig Badley walked 20k.  Trudy Sailes completed 6 hours weeding.

Carly Flitney walked 6k every morning for 6 days around Saliente Alto, Andrea Hollings and the Dawn Chorus Walkers completing an amazing 600k between them, Maria Walter did 6k around Cerro Gordo and Jacqui and Rob Allen ran 6k three times a week every week in June.

Alan Pearce did 2k each in the pool, swimming, walking and cycling and Holman Blackburn walked 6k to the bins and back wearing ankle weights.  Claire Harper swam 6k every week for 6 weeks in her pool (that is equal to swimming from Arboleas to Villaricos), Judi Bedford-Keogh swam 6k in total within the month.

The El Rincón Pub Crawl went from El Rincón through the citrus groves across the Rambla to La Perla. Visiting Bar Andaluz, Bar El Caril and Dora’s Bar in La Cinta, finally walking back to El Rincón and Bar Castillo to celebrate the completion of their 6km walk.

Last but certainly not least is Carrie Ann Earl completed 6k a day on her treadmill on horseback – you must see the photo!
