Unscrupulous people have tried to take advantage of those with fewer resources or who do not have enough knowledge to deal with attempts at deception or scams.
An episode of this type, with several fraud attempts involved, took place this week in the municipality of Arboleas, located in the Almanzora Valley.
This has been communicated by the Local Police through social networks. In a message published yesterday, the Arboleas agents warned that on Tuesday morning "two individuals" visited "some houses in the urban area posing as Town Council personnel."
The intention of these alleged scammers, according to the statement from the Local Police, was none other than visiting homes with the intention of processing or offering "subsidies."
Faced with this situation, the same security body has asked the Arboleas neighbours to "be alert" and "if there is any suspicion" to contact the Local Police at 609 456 679.
