I've been watching the eruption on the island and it is terrifying. I cannot see how they can ever get back to normality again. Along with the lava spewing out constantly and with new streams appearing almost daily there are regular earthquakes as well, most above a 2 on the scale. How will people begin to plant the destroyed banana plantations and attract any other than volcanists to the island? It is so sad and with no end in sight...
