Monday 24th February : Next on the list is Hasta que la boda nos separe (until the wedding separates us.) Again there does not seem to be an English version showing.

For your diary: The South Korean film "Parasite" is showing from 27th February to 4th March.

Among its numerous accolades, Parasite received six nominations at the 92nd Academy Awards, winning Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director for Bong, Best Original Screenplay and Best International Feature Film. It became the first South Korean film to receive Academy Award recognition, as well as the first non-English-language film to win Best Picture.

It also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film, the BAFTA Award for Best Film Not in the English Language, and became the first non-English-language film to win the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Showing on Monday at 6pm in English.

Mark Kermode  the BBC film reviewer was really taken by this film and said he laughed all through it.  Anyone who has seen his crits will know he is not one to laugh at anything, so it must be good....

After watching Mark Kermode reviewing films of the week, I've now realised that his recommended films should be avoided like the plague.  One in twenty might just about be OK but the majority are dreadful.

I just love his voice and always listen to his review on the radio.  I never was much of a film fan, haven't been to the cinema for at least 20 years

Yep just checked Sunday Bloody Sunday 1971.  Put me off.  Glenda Jackson and one of the foxes and a dog died

That even beats me Judi!  My last cinema visit was for Schindler's List which was in B&W apart from fleeting glimpses of a little girl in a red coat.  The only film I've seen where the audience sat at the end for at least a minute before applauding!
I read somewhere that Glenda has given up politics and is now making another film!!!!
