I read this in El Pais this morning.

I think the committee may have been men 🙄

Besides their trophies, the winners in the female category of a squash championship in Asturias, in northern Spain, received a gift set containing two boxes of hair-removal wax, an electric callus remover, and a vibrator. The male winners did not get a beauty pack with their prizes.

The matter is being investigated by the Asturias Women’s Institute, and it has already triggered resignations at the club that organized the competition and at the regional squash federation.

The men got antiperspirants and little blue pills to help them in times of crisis.

Over here we only play for cash in hand prizes.

Well after all we are in Almeria!

Besides I think I would be at a loss as to know what to do with some, if not all, of the contents that were included in those gift sets.

As you know full well I am good old catholic boy and have led a sheltered life

Normally in club championships the winner gets a medal or trophy. Never heard of any club awarding a vibrator to the Ladies Champion, must be a world's first....

There was me thinking that was the GYM machine that you stand on and it vibrates at different speeds to music and you lose loads of weight.
Must be my west of Ireland Catholic upbringing.
