Travel warning
« on: 07 Apr, 2020, 07:02:55 pm »
Message from a friend in Arboleas who has a Spanish Policeman neighbour

Been told by our policeman neighbour not to go out of village. Got to shop at Coviran.  Apparently 25 people fined 600 euro yesterday for trying to go to Albox.

Not my story Drax.  The person who told me is perfectly capable of posting it.  I just knew they wouldn't post it on here.

I wonder if they were all British!!!
I have to go to albox as I live in LHig “no shops nearest albox” I go to mercies it’s very civilised and like a ghost town, lidles different I see lots more people I guess from arboleas town and baris that have to drive passed coverian to get to lidle so those that do are breaking the law, it’s a Brit thing to do! Is it ?

I think the Spanish will be tempted, especially this weekend as there is no fresh fish at Coviran.  To be honest I do not see that many Spanish in Coviran and their frozen fish is awful

I only discovered that Merkies is shut tomorrow and friday this afternoon.  I drove down to the Olula one and the car park was full on the ground level and there were quite a number on the top deck as well.  They did have most items but the fresh stuff was almost gone.  I managed to grab a few mandarins but not much else....

Lmj19, I barely know what my own name is currently, let alone what day of the week it is....  There is definite lack of structure in my life at present.  The only day I know is the wednesdays when I take my Katykat to the vet for treatment.
