Christmas measures for Andalucia The president of Andalucia, Juanma Moreno has announced in a press conference this afternoon a series of measures for the Christmas period, in phases:
1️⃣
From the 12th to the 17th December☑️ Movement permitted between municipalities within each province
☑️ Shops open until 9:00 p.m.
☑️ Hospitality open until 6pm.
☑️ Curfew starts at 22:00.
2️⃣
From 18th December to 10th January ☑️ Movement permitted between provinces.
☑️ Hospitality with split hours: closing at 6:00p.m. And then re-opening from 8pm until 10:30p.m.
☑️ Shops: regular hours.
☑️ Curfew: between 11pm and 6am.
For the specific Christmas dates:
📌
From December 23rd to January 6th: ☑️ Entry and exit of Andalucia permitted
☑️ “The concept of “allegado” (close friend) not accepted. Therefore social meetings over the Christmas period may only be with family members. And crossing the Andalucia border over these dates may only be permitted to go to be with family.
(#N332 adds: this is something that’s been in the spanish news recently whether the term “allegado” in Spanish is too vague and therefore leads to a lack of responsibility. Andalucía therefore has decided to ‘remove’ this term and not permit meetings with “allegados” - which is roughly translated in English as “close friends”. In other Autonomous Communities this term will be accepted.) ☑️ Maximum 10 people in family home for December 24th, 25th, 31st, and January 1st.
☑️ Curfew Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve: starts at 1.30am.
📌 As an additional measure, from December 18th the #SierraNevada ski resort will be open to the public, with the capacity, schedules and protocols established for ski and mountain resorts due to #COVID-19.
📌 The elderly living in care homes may leave these residences to be with there families and this will be permitted from December 22nd to January 7th.
