I think the book was called "The Midwich Cuckoos" and the film  "The village of the damned"  well the Cuckoo bit would be about right for BJ.😶

   I remember reading the book and found it quite scary.  Haven't seen film....

I did see the film many years ago possibly Boris was in it, as he could be in the correct age group, Carrie possibly a bit young for it.
