An exaltation of the Pilgrimage of Saliente by the director of LA VOZ
Pedro M. de la Cruz will praise the pilgrimage today within the acts in honor of La Pequeñica
The Diocesan Sanctuary of Saliente continues in Albox with the acts in honour of Nuestra Señora del Saliente Coronada that are scheduled to last until October 10. In this context, this Saturday, September 4, at 9:00 p.m., the exaltation of the Pilgrimage will take place in the Sanctuary cloister, by Pedro Manuel de la Cruz Alonso, director of LA VOZ, which will be presented by Antonio Pardo Díaz and will have the participation of the Cuadrilla de Ánimas del Saliente.
To celebrate the solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lady, on Tuesday, September 7, at midnight, the prayer of the rosary and salve will take place in the Shrine. On the 8th the pilgrims' mass will be celebrated at 5, 7, 8 and 9 hours. presided over by different priests of the Diocese.
At 11 am there will be the pontifical mass presided over by Antonio Gómez Cantero, coadjutor bishop of Almería, after which the procession of the sacred image of La Pequeñica will be held along the Esplanade del Roel and the Angelus prayer.
In the afternoon, the pilgrim masses will continue at 6:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., closing the doors of the Shrine at 10:00 p.m.
After the Solemnity of Our Lady there will be pilgrimages of thanksgiving from neighbouring towns; on Saturday September 11 the award of the Patronage Medal posthumously to Manuel Mirón López for his merits in spreading the devotion of Our Lady of the Salient in the city of Murcia and on Sunday 26, the solemnity of San Miguel Arcángel, protector of the Diocesan Sanctuary of Saliente.
Likewise, the festival of Our Lady of the Rosary will be recovered in the Sanctuary. On Saturday, October 9, the pilgrimage of the Rosary will take place with the departure of pilgrims, horsemen and carts from the Santa Bárbara Fountain. It will be a day full of events, with the celebration of the Holy Mass for Pilgrims at 1:00 p.m., presided over by Juan José Martín Campos, magisterial canon and pastoral prefect of the Cathedral of the Incarnation, and the presentation of the canvas of Our Lady of the Rosary of the Sanctuary.
The acts and services will conclude on Sunday, October 15 with a mass of thanksgiving .
