From 10th still cooler this year.  We have just driven across the Cabo de Gata -  so green, well actually' yellow , lots of broom and other flowers.

I cannot remember it so green.  I drove to Almeria Airport via Macael and Tabernas and visitors also commented on it.  There has been a lovely display of wild flowers for ages.  Sadly they will die and possibly create a mega fire hazard.

Arboleas Ayuntamiento have had a guy strimming all the growth near houses.  I really felt sorry for him, unusual for Spain, he was in full hazard suite with visor and ear defenders.  He must have been so hot!!

They seem to be everywhere right now, or possibly I am just noticing.  Men have been working on power line up to the village for over a week and they are only taking very short lunch breaks, so working through the heat.  Those yellow suits must be minging after working a full day...

From 6th.  Found the thermometer on the floor yesterday afternoon, registering 46.  Does falling on the floor make a difference?  Arboleas Farmacia showed 44

Same happened to me when I had visitors recently, they moved it from shade to sun.  I reset it and put it back in shade and got correct reading.
