OK, so the red line on the RHS is the current road down to the motorway?

Judi_bk

No the yellow line across the top starting at Los Llanos and bypassing La Cueva is the main road.  The dark red line to left and right are the boundaries; left with Albox, right with Zurgena.  Arboleas is very long and thin.  Starting North beyond Limaria at Las Higuarales and ending South past Los Torres and Las Huevanillias to Los Colorados (please excuse spelling).  Frankie, you may remember picking someone up on frosty mornings at Las Huevanillas to take him to see his wife in hospital.

What a really useful map - I have heard all the names of the different barriadas in Arboleas but not where they are in relation to the village

That makes more sense Judi.  How well I remember those journeys, many years ago...  I did have to stop and think who you meant!!

I bet you won't be saying that of this weeks's figures, Judi

Judi_bk

Mostly hotter this year but not as much as I thought it would be

No rain either year

Judi_bk

5th July - not very different from this year

Judi_bk

From 12th July.  Hotter and cooler nights this year but only slightly

frankie

The nights this summer have felt much cooler than last year and I have not needed the fan on some nights.  I've also not needed fan on every afternoon. :undecided:

Judi_bk

But that was before last Friday.  We had 2 very hot nights

No rain either year

frankie

I've just checked my figures as, looking at these stats, I maybe sent you the wrong one for the friday but it was correct.  I don't recollect it being that hot but it may have been the night i put th floor standing fan in the bedroom and it's far stronger than the ceiling one.  Couldn't stand the noise though...

Judi_bk

Slightly warmer last year

Last Monday we saw hailstones as big as golf balls.  It sounded like bombs going off.  Here is some of our minor damage

frankie

Is that a photo of your roof with holes in it, Judi?  It's incredible that the storm was so localised.  I see I am not alone in not getting anything

Judi_bk

Yes it is a small piece of double layered plastic that protects you from sun and rain as you enter the house
