Well for anyone going to London soon, Selfridges have opened their Christmas shop. It is only 149 days away 😱🎅🏽🎄

If you are an early Christmas shopper then the pressies bought at Selfridges can be crossed off your list. Tourists can snap up items they cannot buy in their own countries I guess.

Last week, a pub in Bristol became the "first in Britain" to put up its Christmas tree, while the country was in the midst of a heatwave. Apparently this is not the first year they have done this.

I personally do not enjoy the adverts getting earlier and earlier every year.

Ho ho ho ho

my friend still has her xmas tree up, hubby won't let me do that.

I have been told to curb my christmas obession as we cant get anymore stuff in the shed. I have agreed to that with my fingers crossed behind my back  :cheesy: :cheesy:

Truthfully I think Spain has the right balance no deccies till end of november and not too overboard.

I do love Xmas though

When I arrived here over 15 years ago, it was such a relief that Spain did not seem to do the frantic mad rush over xmas.  They did not even hang any decorations in the towns until about 2 week before xmas.  I notice year upon year they are getting earlier and earlier.
