And there's more.....
« on: 03 Dec, 2019, 08:56:24 am »
I've been mopping up since around 4 this morning and am knackered now!
It comes in via the kitchen boiler (no hot water until it dries).  In the living room, bedroom and bathroom it comes in under the architraves.   It has now stopped so a bit of respite while I spin dry all the towels I have used, before more rain which is forecast later and supposed to continue all day....
Spain dos not do anything in moderation does it?  No rain for weeks (months) and then 24 hr deluge.

I guess the way the weather is changing there could be a white Christmas in the Almanzora valley and surrounding areas on 25/12. It looks a cool 22o on Xmas day, and 20o in other nearby places. When we all catch up with our family and friends in the UK on the 25th we sometimes comment on the warm weather we seem to enjoy here around this time of year (some of them donĀ“t believe us !) If you want snow head to the Serra Nevada over a third of the runs and lifts are open, great value and Granada is lovely at this time of year (expected to be 13o on 25/12)

Have a lovely Christmas.

I hope I am not tempting fate but this is the first year in the past 15 I've lived here that I have not had frost before xmas.  I know there are 2 weeks left, so keeping all crossed....
