Omg, I was cycling this morning thinking away as usual when a thought popped into my head, what if this killing of a top Iranian general has the same effect as FF assassination.

The death of this man will have a far greater effect than that of Bin Laden.  By his unilateral action he has put not only the US in danger but the rest of us, as well as the western allies will all be blamed by Iran.
This is a serious threat of an out and out war.  I can imagine the planning will have started as to where and when to hit the west.
Scary times....

Blame Donald 'make America great again', who is the most serious threat to world peace since Hitler and Stalin or possibly nowadays 'little rocket man' in N.Korea.'

I have friends in the US and they are asking me who this man was... I suspect this act will not enhance Trumps re-election as much as he thought it might.

Surely, the failure by the US to alert Britain that an attack was happening just 40 miles from where 500 of our Army personnel were  stationed must raise serious questions about the UK's future relationship with the US particularly given that Donald Trump is seeking a second term in power.

Trump only considers Trump. In his eyes it was a vote winning move, especially as both Obama and Bush refused to allow him to  be taken out....
I am sick of politicians world wide and in his own country allowing him to do exactly as he wishes.  He is, IMO, as much of a megalomaniac
as Hitler, Mugabe and their ilk were.  Power produces some sort of belief in invincibility and divine right.

The problem for us is that the Tories are so keen to do a trade deal with the US that they dare not be too critical of Trump in case it backfires on the UK. Sad to say but our country no longer has any real standing amongst the 'Big Boys', we are Trump's puppy dog.

Quote from: BBC News
At least 40 people (so far reported) have been killed and hundreds injured in a stampede as Iranians flocked to the burial of a top commander killed in a US drone strike, Iranian media report.

The deaths led to the postponement of Qasem Soleimani's burial. A new time will be announced later, officials say.

Soleimani is being laid to rest in his hometown of Kerman with millions already estimated to have packed the streets for funeral processions.

Typical....   Arabs

No need for Trump to bomb them then if they keep killing themselves, perhaps that was the plan all along. He must be a tactical genius our Donald?
