I’ve often thought how good it is to have tiled floors because they are so easy to clean.  However, tonight a pyrex casserole dish which was my mother’s before me, so 50/60 years old, fell off the worktop in the kitchen and smashed to smithereens! 😡😡😡😡

Having 2 glass items dropped  on the floor earlier this week, I am still finding slivers of glass even after sweeping and hoovering. :dunno:

Even worse if you have pets.  I really worry that the minute slivers will get in one of their paws.  It is incredible how far these shards seem to travel.  I bet you will still be finding bits weeks ahead, Annie, just when you feel you've got the lot, the sun will shine on a teensy bit you've missed. .
