There is water in it.  Not a lot but it is running.  Where is it coming from?

The Rio down at La Cinta had quite a lot of water puddles in it yesterday and being filled with slow running water from the right hand side fields (heading towards Almanzora).

Last week's Sunday walk had a lot more running water in the Rio up at Almanzora on the opposite side to the Palace. We heard the noise long before we saw the waterfall, then it disappeared underground to reappear later down the track.

I have no idea where the rambla at this end of the valley meets up with a larger one but water has been running with the snow melt up here.  It runs through Purchena, Olula, Fines etc.  However, it does run if a farmer decides he does not need his water allocation and lets it run to the rambla.
