Plant pots

Popped into our local garden centre and whilst there had a look at the pots.  For a decorative large pot the price was a whopping 24€.  At our local Ceramica in Albox a similar size pot is between 8 & 10€, now that's what I call a mark up!

The pots in that ceramics shop are incredible value for money. My better half would fill her hand luggage with pots from that shop if she had space available.

Years ago I worked for a company that made decorative clay gaden edging and ornaments.  Selling into DIY shops was fine but the mark up in garden centres was huge, made them too expdnsive.  They are used to massive profit margins on plants that they grow.  I too love that shop

Not only are their ceramic pots  great price but the husband and wife in there are such a  lovely couple...  Been going for 15 years, no need to go anywhere else...

And if you buy two or three things you often get a free gift.

I bought 3 large pots a couple of days ago for 27 euro and got a lovely little clock as a gift.
Great shop. Lovely people.

My only complaint is not even to do with them, it is the way some people park outside, taking much of the very limited parking space.  It is annoying to drive all the way down there and then have to keep driving around the block until there is a vacant spot.
