COVID

Infections are rising but hopitalisations are falling.
So we are in a different phase.
Similar to the flu.

At the moment there are no plans to remove the requirement to wear masks indoors and other confined spaces, except for schools.

Andalucia is discussing with the Department of Health in Madrid about offering a fourth vaccine to those in residential homes and also those over 70 who live at home.
They have sufficient vaccines.
They have already given the fourth vaccine to people with special health needs.

In Andalucia there are still around 200,000 people who have not turned up for a vaccine, mostly people in the age range 35 to 50.
These are the people who have suffered serious infections.

Mandatory testing and isolation is no longer required.

Thank you Roger, I will still be wearing my mask and gloves.  As Easter is approaching and the 1 in 15 positives in UK, which means Brit visitors will be transmitting.  Your input is very much appreciated.

I echo what Roscoe has posted.  I do get odd looks and even a request or 2 to remove it when talking to people in the street.  No way!!!

Most places have.  Had coffee in Purchena (very amusing conversation from tne middle aged ladies on the next table - knowing some Spanish is a bonus) then onto Seron to see the snow...nada but lost my mask somewhere.  I had a scarf and put it round my face...headed to a farmacia but was told off by the only customer in there.  Bought a mask for 20c

I will still wear a mask, in public and shops.
