The first few years I was here I would peg myself out on the roof terrace in the sun like a greasy chip.  Now I cannot cope with the sun during summer and much prefer early spring, autumn and warm winter days.

I am amazed that the temps are not dissimilar to last year as I am really suffering in the heat this year and am longing for a cooler autumn.

I think it is more humid.  There is still more water around from the Spring rains.  They are still letting excess water run off into the rambla from the orchards and gardens either side.  Excess water at the begining of August!!

The rambla down through Purchena (which presumably joins up with the one through Arboleas?)has been 'running' since last winter, all be it very slowly.  So slow in fact that parts are quite stagnant and I wonder what the Mozzie situation is.
