Thanks for allowing me in...
« on: 03 May, 2020, 04:54:34 pm »
..I remember Judy  and Frankie, with her cats, from a then “ well organised” forum way back in 2005.
Looking for some friendly chat and polite exchange of opinions.
Cheers

Welcome back,  you can phone Lepanto, supinbox or Longos and  they can deliver or you can arrange a time to pick up.  Hope this helps.

 :hi: Welcome!

If you are in Arboleas, Aldesur are open with restrictions on numbers in store and social distancing rules apply, otherwise you can wander around and choose your own items no problem.

Not going to knock other forum except to say.” Those were the days” when all forums were communities of like minded folk. Everyone eager to help others. Because that is what life is about.
Originally joined 2005 because friends and our builder were in the areas of La Alfoquia, la Zurgena and Arboleas.
However to achieve what we wanted had to buy just over the border in Murcia.
Used to look in when you started your own forum but didn’t join..or at least don't think I did ...because life was full on plus  had a minuscule guilt complex of posting on any forum out of my area.
Unfortunately in Lorca forums are not the thing.
Consequently it wasn’t until the Brexit/Megxit/ Covid issues that I started taking interest again.
So, you may well ask..”Why are you here”
Answer..if you want a good laugh..check out how my “ banishment”  :undecided: :embarrassed: :shocked:came about.
Original post under “genuine Question” by timb. It was asking about 2 in a car...
My response caused admin to have an enormous volcanic eruption against me.
For reasons unknown it is thought Lorca Lad and I are one and the same. Only connection is we are both with same provider plus don’t think our spouses would be impressed if they thought we were sharing any device
In truth he probably wouldn’t have banned me if I hadn’t asked HOW to get out of here.

That’s it. Onwards and upwards.
So Frankie, thx for welcome . Are you still living up a mountain with your feline friends.
That is SO brave. I don’t do little bumps on the horizon, let alone mountains. :tiphat:

Never mind, we are really pleased to have you. Re Lorca Lad, depending on the system used users of the same internet provider can have the same IP address

well the good news Jessica you can travel together 2 in a row but must wear masks

However it's still only one person allowed in any shop so ...... it's rather pointless and you can´t leave your village or town

Bit bummed that I still cant get to go to work until the STATE OF ALARM has finished. My hubby thinks Im mad cos I want to go back to work when I can stay whilst being paid

Darent tell him its for my own sanity

I have to go outside my village (I live in the campo) to shop and take my cat to the vet for specialist treatment for which I have a letter if I am stopped.  Presumably if you do not have necessary facilities close by then the travel rules should not apply?  I have only been stopped once and that was on my way to the vet. When I explained where I was going, I was told to go to the vet in Olula but he does not have the lazer treatment KatyKat needs, so he just waived me on...

Similarly to you Frankie. Nearest supermarkets are 7 km away" As is the vets, where I am going tomorrow, as pelaqueria is back in operation.
My pooch is going to be very happy (afterwards)    for getting a long awaited shampoo and his fur coat cut.

Afternoon all

I would love to go and visit my parents who are 2 hours away as my mum has vascular dementia and doesn't understand what is going on and dad is caring for her on his own, they are both in there 80's.  I so miss them, I just want a big cuddle.......
