Weekly weather stats

Sitting at my laptop with the clear blue sky and almost wall to wall sunshine behind me and washing in the machine, I've just checked weather forecast! Oh, my, how I wish I hadn't. Rain is apparently due by 11 this morning and will last for the remainder of the day and into the night!!! When I see this it really raises my hopes that my 1,200 m sq area of dry dust, the garden, will be getting a good drink, only to then be disappointed when it passes me by. To make it worse I can see rain falling in front of me and also behind the village. But here? NADA! Zilch, Nothing!

Well, I did get rain after all.... It started about 5 ish and rained on and off for the rest of the day.. Around 9pm it was torrential for a couple of hours and I was hearing of flooding in Olula and Purchena as rain fell down to the valley floor.
Just been down to Purchena and I can see where the rain came above the road near the cement factory and huge piles of rocks and debris which had been washed down. I'm glad it wasn't that bad up here in Somontin.
Spain does no do anything by halves, does it?

The forecast is for frost up here by next weekend and for several nights. I usually get this every November...

Rain was forecast for yesterday here but I didn't get any. Today, none forecast and it's now raining!!!

Ha, ha, just had another look and it has changed from earlier and I now see the rain will be here for most of the day... So glad I didn't do any washing today. Wind has almost sunk to nothing...
