"Calling in" for refreshments on the way home a Spanish guy was asking the owner what was the plan if they closed the bars... Answer was that "food and drink would be served through the window, everyone would have to sit outside - it is warm and not raining so no problem.. see you tomorrow"

What we would call - organised eh. !! :clap: :rofl:

Spain will be on lockdown as from monday according to Spanish TV. with only trips for emergencies and food shopping (why with empty shelves?)   So I'm glad I have no need to go out for a while now.  Got my kindle. my garden needing work doing and my laptop. 
Sadly my son was coming to visit on 11th of April with a couple of mates and they have just been told the ferry has been cancelled.

Lockdown is when prisoners are confined to their cells. As Pedro said you are allowed to do essential shopping, work, doctors and travel to habitual residents. So it’s emergency measures to restrict movement. Of course there bill be retards that have their own rules.

My understanding was that if you are outside NOT doing an essential journey - food shop, hospital etc then you will be made to return home...
I have been wondering how they can enforce this and are maybe expecting people to be responsible and not go out unless really necessary.

Albox Mercadona was very civilised this morning, a few items we usually buy were missing from the shelves but the staff were busy restocking and singing along behind their masks. Choice of 3 parking spots downstairs, (about 9:45) no problems getting in, no queues to get out.

Perhaps all those that fought over and filled their trolleys at weekend still have a full fridge  :rofl:

On another note, now that we are confined to quarters the boss is asking if I can do this little job, can I fix that etc. etc.  Unfortunately the places I usually buy nails, nuts, screws, hardware supplies are all closed - oh dear!!  :whistle:

Lidl in Albox was pretty quiet, plenty of milk. However the 3 Brits in front of me took the last 12 bottles of the 6 litre water. Thanks for that!
