Hopefully it has finally gone, leaving the Saharan red dust all over everything. 

My fault, I had car washed last thursday.

We had loud rain in the night for less than a  minute and a few spots just now  all red   

2 mls in my rain gauge.  Just looked at the car and, no, it isn't covered in red dust.  It was certainly in the air all weekend though.

Much cooler on the walk this morning and we had a small downpour, bliss.
